Castaway Cay

This is Disney’s own private island.  Located in the Abaco islands, 225 miles from Port Canaveral, all of Disney’s itineraries to the Caribbean stop here.  Most cruise lines now have their own private island, but Castaway Cay is the only private island that your ship will actually docks right to the pier, where as the other ones will have to be tendered.

The beaches are powder white and there are separate beaches for families, teens and a special secluded beach called Serenity Beach, just for adults.  All across the island, there are unlimited adventures to be had with excursions and activities for all ages.  Kids dig us endless fun at Scuttle’s Cove and Monstro Point.  Teens hit their beach for excursions, a volleyball tourney or whatever.  Families kick back together, than splash and snorkel through playgrounds in the sea.

Be sure to look for the hidden underwater Mickey and adults will especially enjoy a Swedish massage, extra cost.  An excellent lunch is provided and you can even get your picture taken with Mickey and Minnie and the rest of the gang!

Yes, there is a Never Land.

Captains Tip: Be sure to sign up for excursions either online before you leave for your cruise or as soon as you can one you get on the ship.  Shore excursions are popular and some sell-out.
